1. Choose the Right Footwear

This is one of the crucial things to choose a perfect footwear for hiking in complex terrain. I think! If you don’t use any hiking boots on uneven terrain, you may get injuries like somethings.

I personally recommend looking at arch support boots, and waterproof boots where there are various kinds of benefits.

When I hike rough terrain, I always try to use this sort of footwear and where there are multiple features in a pair of hiking boots.

So you can use those kinds of footwear while hiking in rough terrain anywhere.

2. Study the Terrain Before

What do you think about the terrain? Should we research and study before going to the steep terrain and others?

It’s essentially required to study the terrain. Because wherever you go hiking, you must study.

When I go climbing on steep terrain, I would study and research those areas and geographic locations. I would use Google Maps and Alltrails apps and I would use paper maps and see them on the internet.

If you do a proper study of your hiking locations. Sure, you will must confidence to go hiking in any different and difficult terrain.

A proper study of the terrain can give you a better advantage and you feel much better than from a beginner.

3. Use Trekking Poles

Actually, It may seem like a necessary thing but here there are some benefits to using hiking poles and trekking poles.

I think so too that but, Whenever I used this extra supported trekking poles during difficult terrain mountains.

And then I can understand the games. It may help to keep a balanced body weight at the steed terrain.

When you will use hiking poles, and then you can understand the outdoor experience and those benefits.

4. Maintain Proper Posture

When you will be hiking uphill and downhill areas. You must have to keep a straight, proper poster of your body.

This way, if you can hike in difficult terrain, you can rest assured that you will be safe and enjoy your outdoor journey.

A fun fact about me, when I go on adventures like this I try to never put weight on my whole body again because I get too nervous.

7. Focusing on Foot Placement

Just focus every time you step. How do you know if the place where you step is really walkable? Do you think it can provide good support while climbing the mountain?

Maybe you can’t always understand about those places, I couldn’t either. Slowly understand and carefully cross your path.

8. Use Handholds

Another very important organ after your feet is your hands, which can be most useful while hiking. I must try to climb or descend mountains by holding onto anything with your hands. Definitely use a hiking stick but not everywhere.

You must use it according to the situation. And one of the better hacks is to use a handhold to protect yourself.

And I would suggest doing a little weather research before going hiking.

What to do if the weather suddenly changes? If it is not too dangerous then you can ride on steep areas. If more, try to find a safe shelter. This is from my personal experience.

Have you ever wondered? What would happen if you or I went down the hill at high speed? I hope you understand. If we don’t have control of our legs or body then a lot of damage can happen.
