I got a lot of benefits, and it was easy to navigate. In my opinion, these gears are essential to use.

How I Cooked / Tips for Cooking

Here are bonus tips for beginner campers. I will share my incredible tiny cooking tips and journey.

First, you have to choose and understand what kind of food you love to eat.

Maybe,

  • – What are common camping foods?
  • – What dishes are best for camping?

If you don’t have camping food ideas, ask yourself: What kind of meals do I like?

You can cook!

  • For Breakfast: Eggs, cheese, sausage, cake, or veggies, etc.
  • For Lunch: Deli meats, fish, veggies, rice, etc.
  • For Dinner: Salmon, potatoes, snacks, rice, vegetables, or eggs, etc.

These meals are common for camping. Try to cook and eat your favorite food.

How I Cooked Meals During My First Camping Trip

I cooked fish by first putting oil in a pot and heating it for 5–10 minutes. I then mixed in all the necessary ingredients like onions, garlic, salt, pepper, and fish spices.

When the oil was hot, I added the fish pieces one by one, mixing them well with the oil.

Then I put the lid on the pot and placed it in the oven, cooking for 10–15 minutes before adding enough water. I let it boil for half an hour and checked if it was well-cooked.

If you can do this, you can cook at a fair level as a new camper.
